Job Description:
The Draughtsperson gives you a guide and carrier option to MRM Technical professionals via Computer Aided Draughting and Geographic Information Systems, while staying abreast of the present-day technological improvements and enterprise exceptional practice.
You could be tasked with appearing in the subsequent activities:
Compiles and keeps statutory and non-statutory mine plans (maps) and different graphical merchandise required for a mine or project
Maintains the GIS/CAD database for premiere use
Maintains updated information on GIS/CAD technology, software program, and hardware
Produce Point Cloud models.
Update operating plans on a daily, month-to-month, and quarterly basis
Adhere to departmental requirements and tactics touching on Draughting
Liaise with all MRM departments
Prioritizing and time control of activities/tasks
Ensuring CAD exceptional practices are executed
This position is a C5 stage reporting to the Mine Geological Systems Supervisor
Qualifications:
You will want the subsequent:
Grade 12 or matric certificate
Chamber of Mines Survey Draughting certificate
GIS Qualification (advantageous)
Elementary Mine Survey Certificate (advantageous)
Tertiary CAD Qualification (advantageous)
Experience
three Years’ revel in a Draughting Office
Minimum 1 yr revel in a Mineral Resources surroundings
Knowledge of Geology, Survey, Rock Engineering, Planning, and Ventilation
Experience operating with a GIS device could be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
Microstation and/or AutoCAD
MineRP CAD
ArcGIS
MS Office proficiency
